(Opening in Atlanta, GA) Biometric Technical Support Manager

Provide input into the pre-sales and development processes for the company’s biometric access control, time and attendance, identity management and custom biometric solutions and handle support and service issues strategy and approach as well as manage the support team consisting of software & quality assurance engineers. Provide direct assistance to customers on pre-sales issues. Assist stakeholders with technical problems that will help move sales forward, on pre-sales and ongoing sales opportunities. Communicate new support releases to all relevant stakeholders. Ensure training and communication to all stakeholders of all new features added to the products before new versions of the products are released into the market. Support both Biometric hardware and software components to help remove obstacles from sales opportunities. Develop sample and proof of concept applications for customers that have requirements that fall outside of the day-to-day functionality of our products. Remain updated on new product developments in biometric access technology providing input and tactical direction to the business on customer service and support challenges. Liaison with the internal functions including sales, product management, engineering, network operations, provisioning and other service functions. Review roadmap regularly with the feature development team. Cascade business objectives and targets to the team. Provide software development and integration assistance to customers that want to integrate our products into their own solutions. Drive solutions and development, providing a bridge between customers and development to ensure client requirements are covered. Coordinate product work releases, perform code reviews, and work with external stakeholders to gather business requirements. Perform technical analysis, provide recommendations to product owners and stakeholders and develop / deliver custom software solutions. Approve infrastructure changes and ensure policies are being followed. Attend quarterly security review meetings. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience OR an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of experience. 3 years must include experience with Technical and sales support of Biometric products and integration, and Morpho hardware and software. 1 year must include experience with Agile methodology.
